Speaking and Leading Toastmasters is the very first Toastmasters Club established in Lüneburg.
We are a German/English bilingual club and meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month, from 19:30 to 21:30 h in Paul-Gerhardt-House, Bunsenstraße 82, 21337 Lüneburg.
Toastmasters currently has more than 357,000 members in 143 countries. Our club is just one of the more than 16,600 clubs located around the world.
TAKE THE FIRST STEP
You won’t regret it. Want to be better at presenting your ideas and expertise? Networking at business or social functions? Motivating co-workers – or your kids?
Become the speaker you want to be. Confident, charismatic speakers weren’t born that way. Toastmasters members learn to tell their story. They listen and answer. Through our community of learners, they find their path to success.
WHY JOIN SPEAKING AND LEADING TOASTMASTERS?

How it works
The environment in a Toastmasters club is friendly and supportive. Everyone at a Toastmasters meeting feels welcome and valued – from complete beginners to advanced speakers. In a club meeting, you practice giving prepared speeches as well as brief impromptu presentations, known as Table Topics. There is no rush and no pressure: The Toastmasters program allows you to progress at your own pace.

Being a good presenter
Presentation, public speaking, or however you call it. The ability to speak confidently and clearly is no doubt a skill one can benefit from in all areas of his/her life! Toastmasters combines communication with leadership. In Toastmasters you will hone your speaking skills, and you will develop leadership abilities – through evaluations, listening, mentoring, serving as club officers and filling roles in club meetings. You will take those leadership skills out into the world, running businesses, mentoring youths, organizing fund-raisers, coaching teams and heading up families.

fun and games
Speech contests are a Toastmasters tradition. Each year thousands of Toastmasters compete in the speech contests. Competition begins with club contests and progresses on to larger audiences and some even to the semifinal and the World Championship of Public Speaking.®
