Club President takes First Place in A1 Contest

Toastmasters clubs gather together and have friendly speech competitions every year. It is a great opportunity to enjoy and learn from good speeches. An area contest in Hamburg typically has 4 clubs and up to eight contestants competing in three categories: International Speech, Evaluation, and Table Topics.

Ruth Heume, the founder and president of Speaking and Leading Toastmaster Lüneburg, has won first place in both the German and English Evaluation contests. She will advance and represent area A1 to compete in Division A Conference.
